Cost effective LED light source provides collimated monochromatic or white beam to illuminate through microscope fluorescence ports. Interchangeable LED heads available in 7 different colors and 2 shades of white, up to 400 mWt at some wavelengths.  Plugs directly into wall socket, no additional controllers on the lab bench.
